It’s better than being cooped up indoors for many reasons, but the benefits of daylight in particular are a boost in vitamin D, higher productivity, improved vision and better sleep. Daylight is a mood enhancer because your body produces more of the “happy” hormone, serotonin, especially when there’s some sunshine around. So get outside!
