We may have reached the magical figure of £1million in donations, but that doesn’t mean that our job is done. There are still children in desperate need, and we want to do all we can to help. We meet the running costs of the appeal and guarantee that every penny sent to us by readers goes to the charity. This year we’re partnering Mary’s Meals again, the charity that works to provide a daily nutritious meal to school children in some of the poorest corners of the world, helping them gain an education and break the cycle of poverty into which they’ve been born. £13.90 will feed a child for a whole school year.
