✦ “Read­ing the se­rial Poppy Fields (Nos 5442-5444) set in a sec­ondary school in the 1970s brought back so many mem­o­ries for me, as I too at­tended a sec­ondary school in 1970 that turned into a com­pre­hen­sive shortly af­ter I be­gan my ed­u­ca­tion there. I re­ally en­joyed the se­rial as it re­ferred to the fash­ion and records that were around at the time and I could re­late to it all. Happy mem­o­ries.” Linda
