SAY NO TO SUGAR

-

This must be the biggie. Sugar rewards us and there is massive reliance on it to feed our emotions rather than our bodies. Eating too many sugary (and processed) snacks and foods means a lot of glucose in our blood. If it’s not used up (by exercise), then the surplus is stored as fat. It also means a surge of the hormone insulin. Too much of one hormone means the levels of others may also be disrupted. Stable hormone levels are key for a stable mood… and successful fat loss. On Blast, fruit is kept to low sugar varieties such as blueberries, and starchy carbohydrates (whch are converted to glucose) are consumed maximum once a day.
