Comp anies like Face­book are invvest­ing in re­search which could al­low us to con­trool sys­tems, soft­ware and gaad­gets with just our though­hts. Face­book has al­readdy en­listed 60 peo­ple to loook into pre­par­ing us to typpe with our mind’s eye. 5G G phones – who knew! Froom 3G to 4G and now to 5G … wire­less in­ter­net ac­c­cess is ex­pected to in­crease con­nec­tion to wire­less in­ter­net by 100 times more than 4G and en­hance con­nec­tiv­ity of not just phones but cars, TVs and other smart de­vices. Self-Driv­ing Cars, Buses And Elec­tric Cars Self-driv­ing cars and buses may have been in the works for a few years, but now they’re be­ing tested in the UK. Stage­coach has confirmed it’s about to pro­duce a sin­gle deck, full-sized au­ton­o­mous bus which it will trial very soon. Also ex­pect more elec­tric charg­ing points to pop up as elec­tric con­tin­ues to re­place petrol and diesel. De­liv­ery Drones Now that new laws have been passed d in UK to en­sure the safety of drone fly­ing due to the tech’s po­ten­tial, Google are set to test their Wing drone de­liver y ser­vice this year in Europe af­ter mak­ing 55,000 suc­cess­ful de­liv­er­ies across Aus­tralia. Soon we’ll be get­ting lunch de­liv­ered right to our of­fice desk!
