Summer fragrances that will wow you

-

Layer It Up

Create your own scent by wearing more than one perfume at the same time; try scented moisturiser, body oil, hair mist. Notes including mint, basil and citrus are synonymous with summer and are perfect to layer.

Make It Last

Summer heat makes perfume evaporate quicker, so spray scent on elbows, behind knees and even on your tummy button, all areas sheltered from direct sunlight.

EdT or EdP?

Eau de Toilette is not overpowering as it has less essential oil and is light, lasting about four hours. Eau de Parfum provides a richer, deeper scent lasting around 6 hours.

Hair Mist

With hair providing a larger surface for yoour perfume to cling to, spray hair mist at the nape of your neck, on your hairline annd on the midsection of your head for a lonnger- lasting scent in the sun.

Handy H Pens

Ha andbag- friendly perfume pens (eg Mugler’s Alien, Angel, Aura) are perfect for r holidays. They’re great for adding a ba ase layer, or top up during the day.

Don’t D Rub

Rubbing wrists together after spraying ca auses florals to lose their crispness and mixes with the body’s natural oils, changing the scent. Simply spray and let scent sink into your skin.

Moisturise Plus

Showering hydrates the skin, which helps boost the scent and moisturising creates a great base for your fragrance to cling to.

Stay Out Of The Sun

Leaving your fragrance in a bright, humid place causes notes to break down, affecting the smell. Store scent in a dry, cool place (even the fridge) to keep it fresh.
