Getting It Right
● To relax, I like nothing more than a big armchair and a history book. I’m also fond of rugby, especially as it tends to go hand and hand with beer! But what I love doing most is cooking with my wife, Anna. ● If I had a motto, it would be to make friends with everybody, whether you like them or not. It costs nothing to be civil and to enquire about somebody’s passions or worries. ● I’ve just become a father for the third time [to Sid, born in April, a half-brother to Libby and Tom from Gregg’s second marriage]. It’s fabulous. I’m so much calmer; I’m aware of how lucky I am and trying to savour it as much as I can. ● My favourite dish is Anna’s A legendary panna p cotta. For my l ast meal I’d want that t after a plate of oysters, o then roast lamb l with mint sauce, s all washed down d with a glass of Sauterne.
