BONNIE LANGFORD
From the unforgettably cute six-year-old winner of Opportunity Knocks in the late ’60s, who wowed the crowds with her singing and dancing, to the beleaguered mum in East Enders, Bonnie Langford has enjoyed a long and varied career. As well as her on-screen roles, she has been a mainstay on London’s West End and on Broadway in New York. Among her theatre credits are Gone With The Wind and Cats. She is held in special regard by fans of Dr Who, from her time as his assistant Mel. Throughout her career, her trademark red hair has meant she is instantly recognisable, whatever her role.
