JENNY AGUTTER
As the daughter of an army officer, Jenny Agutter spent many of her early years on the move, but in 1964, at the age of 12, a new journey began when she appeared in East of Sudan and she has been in work steadily ever since! Her big break is widely recognised as being in 1970 when she played Bobbie in The Railway Children, and she became well-known in the US six years later when she appeared in sci-fi classic Logan’s Run. From Shakespeare to Marvel, Jenny has continued to work steadily through the decades and, now deep in her 60s, she shows no sign of slowing down. Latterly, we have been enjoying her portrayal of Sister Julienne in Call The Midwife – one of the most popular programmes on TV!
