Legoland Park
If you are visiting the capital with children or grandchildren, a day-trip to Legoland Windsor theme park is an absolute must. Less than an hour from central London by regular train or bus, we were dazzled by this breezy land of bricks and brilliance. From pirate shows ows to dragon rollercoasters to underwater adventures, it all made for a delightful family day out. The highlight for me was Miniland, a whole portion of the park devoted to iconic landmarks from around the world featuring more than 40 million Lego bricks.
