It is lovely to see bees going about their daily buzz-ness, but other insects are often less desirable! Use lavender on your windowsill to discourage flies, and spray lemon verbena and citronella to make sure midges and horseflies fly on by! Keep your trusty tea-tree and ice cubes handy to take the itch out of bites and stings.
