To qualify you need to be claiming certain benefits like Universal Credit, and live near one of its 48 hospitals. Treatment includes vaccinations, worming and microchipping up to emergency care, free or discounted depending on your situation. Blue Cross WWW.BLUECROSS.ORG.UK
Again you need to live near one of its centres and be claiming benefits such as Housing Benefit, Universal Credit, Income Support and Working Tax Credit, to qualify for free or low cost treatment.
Blue Cross has teamed up with PawSquad to offer discounted online consulations 24 hours a day. If you get certain benefits this costs £12 a year for unlimited online consultations for up to five pets.

◆ In an emergency, call your local vet. They can agree payment plans and other help if your pet needs urgent treatment. ◆ Pet insurance can save big bills but won’t cover everything. Check T&Cs.
◆ If your pet needs medication you can save money buying online.
◆ Online vet pharmacies including WWW. VIOVET.CO.UK and WWW.PETPRESCRIPTION.CO.UK both have official accreditation.
