THE GILDED AGEE on Skyy Atlantic. Created by Julian Fellows, the series is set in New York City during its Gilded Age in the 1880s. This period drama promises fashion, scandal and lots of pomp and ceremony. Christine Baranski (Mamma Mia!) and Cynthia Nixon (Sex and the City) star as sisters Agnes and Ada who are clinging on to their old money and social status. The struggle between old and new money is rife, with both camps wanting to maintain their place in New York City elite. Downton Abbey lovers will love this Julian Fellows creation!
Charity and Mackenzie are having a rocky week in EMMERDALE. After the death of a relative, Mackenzie is left distraught. There is tension between the couple after Charity is angr y that Mackenzie didn’t tell her sooner. This leads to a stand-off between the two and one of them turning to someone else for comfort. Will they be able to work things out or are they over for good?
