We’re Reminiscing…
Can you believe it’s been 50 years since the TV mini-series of AnneOfGreenGables starring Kim Braden as the feisty, daydreaming tomboy Anne Shirley? It was so successful there was a surge in tourism to Prince Edward Island, the Canadian location of the story. How we loved orphaned Anne and her dramatic ways, cheered when she found a friend in Diana, prayed that she would fall in love with Gilbert, and sobbed when Matthew died. The story will stay with us forever.
