Hidden Escape To The Beach
If you want to escape the tourists, take a trip over to the Lido for a day at the beach. The island is easy to reach as there are lots of waterbuses which will pick you up and drop you off around Venice and the Lido. Once you arrive on the Lido’s shores you’ll see why it’s a calming escape. The island is known for its glorious beaches, so a walk –or lounge – along the sands is recommended! There are a mix of public and private beaches so be aware that you may have to pay for the best spot.
