Choose reputable news sources, not social media, and decide whether you’re going to watch the daily updates at breakfast or early evening – avoid doing both. Especially avoid watching the news just before bed. Try to unwind daily with activities that make you feel relaxed and produce a sense of achievement, such as yoga, writing or running.
