Dear Sue… ENERGY CRISIS SCAM

I’m getting calls from an energy advisor about loft insulation.

This scam is doing the rounds. I’ve had two calls from a chap called Chris claiming to be my “local energy advisor”. These people sound friendly but what they really want is to come round for a loft insulation rip off. Calls come from a Bournemouth area code (01202) and there’s been lots in the press about it, so if you get a call, put down the phone! We’re ex-directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service but still had two calls which I’ve reported to the ICO who enforce the law on nuisance calls. WWW.ICO.ORG.UK
