She keeps her pieces beautifully simple without a glass front to allow the textures of the materials to stand out. Based on the California coastline, her adorable scenes incorporate sea glass, stones, driftwood and starfish. If you would like to have a go yourself, start with an existing wooden frame. Remove the glass and give the frame a wash of paint for a rustic finish. Work out your design within the aperture of the frame, then use a glue gun to secure your pieces in place.
