Peter caught all the girls’ eyes as the wisecracking, streetwise Eric Duffy, although he was 24 when he took on the role of the 17-yearold. He went on to appear in episodes of Dixon ofDockGreen,Minder,TheBill and Casualty, amongst others, as well as the chap in the Tunes advert struggling to buy a train ticket to Nottingham. He later became an agent – a role he performed for more than 20 years.
