Breaking Glass

Glass is 100% recyclable – and can be recycled over and over again. Empty and rinse before recycling and replace lids and caps (but toss those wine corks in your compost bin).

However, although glass bottles and jars of all shapes and sizes, including empty moisturiser pots, can be recycled, there are some glass items that can’t be given a new lease of life, including mirrors, glass cookware and light bulbs.
