How long will the current type of stamps be valid?

◆ These new-look Royal Mail stamps have barcodes attached and will be on Definitive stamps (with the Queen’s head on) and Christmas stamps.

Don’t worry, you can still use non barcoded stamps until January 31, 2023. After that, if you use them, there’ll be a surcharge to pay at the other end.

Got a stash of stamps you won’t use in time? Royal Mail’s Swap Out scheme starts on March 31 to exchange stamps. Details at ROYALMAIL.COM – you can’t swap stamps in your local Post Office.
