Dr ress Your Best
I was a child of the ’70s, so give me a pair of bell bottoms and I’m happpy. The lovely thing about fashhion now is you can wear anythhing. I’ve learned layering, like a nice pair of opaque tights with a ddress, boots and gilet. I love watching Sex S And The City for the clothes andd seeing lovely looks on Instagram; you can take little nuggets from what tthey’re wearing.
My mothher is from a generation who put on their gloves and dressed up.
I’ve never sseen her without make-up or badly dreessed and I admire her for that. We shhould have pride in our appearance.
I was gooing through an awful time during my ddivorce; Mum called and told me to havee a shower, blow dry my hair, put on my mmake-up and phone her back. I felt like a different person – I had my fighhting kit on.
