She’s Dropped Me For Her New Man!

My best friend and have been really close for forty odd years. She divorced many years ago and was happy on her own, but recently met someone. He seems a nice man and they’re good together, but why do I feel resentful? She’s dropped out of our Tuesday night meal out and cancels arrangements at the drop of a hat. I can’t help but wonder if I’ve lost my best friend and that really upsets me.
