SHERRY & CRANBERRY COCKTAIL

INGREDIENT­S (Makes 8 glasses)

◆ 50g caster sugar

◆ 700ml dry sherry

◆ 350ml cranberry juice

◆ 2 limes

◆ Crushed ice, to serve

◆ Lime wedges, to decorate

1 Place the sugar in a small saucepan with 50ml water. Heat gently to dissolve. Cool.

2 Mix the sugar syrup, sherry, cranberry juice and the juice of 2 limes together in a jug and chill until needed. To serve, pour over crushed ice and add a wedge of lime, if wished.
