Another uplifting yoga pose for energy is the Upward Salute, from the Sun Salutation flow. It’s a lovely way to wake your body up first thing in the morning. It couldn’t be simpler. Just stand up straight, with your weight evenly distribute­d between both feet. On an inhale, lift your arms to the sky, palms facing each other, and look up. Keep your arms and fingertips engaged, not floppy, to bring energy to your hands. Hold for several deep breaths.
