Practise The Bridge

A great move for beginners, this simple but effective exercise engages the pelvic floor and core muscles as – exhaling – you slowly lift your spine off the floor, one vertebra at a time. Use your tummy muscles to hold yourself up, so you’re not sagging in the middle. Take a breath in, and steadily reverse the move so that your tailbone is the last to touch down.
