ABOUT THE CLUB

◆ More than 2 million people in England over the age of 75 live alone, and more than a million older people say they go for over a month without speaking to a friend, neighbour or family member.

◆ The Posh Club is an older people’s service disguised as high tea at the Ritz, specifically designed to reach older people, holding them close in the heart of the community.

◆ The Crawley Posh Club was the original club started by Annie Bowden and her brother Simon Casson ten years ago. It was awarded Best Charity in the Crawley Community Awards 2017. Sister clubs run in Brighton, Hackney and Hastings.

◆ The Posh Club currently receives Arts Club and Lottery funding.
