WORKING WESSEXES
Two of the seven family members forming the innermost royal circle supporting the Queen, the Earl and Countess of Wessex are quietly busy working royals, but do not attract the same media coverage as the rest of the so-called “magnificent seven”.
As Edward visited Kenya last month, Sophie, Patron of over 70 charities – including the NSPCC and the British Cycling Federation, passed to her by her mother-inlaw – represented the Queen in New York, as guest of honour at Commonwealth Day events in New York City.
