Channel 4’s THE GREATG HOUSE GIVEAWAY is back this week and after its successful first run, is in a primetime slot of 4pm every weekday. Car ys Davies, Simon O’Brien and Tayo Oguntonade are out to help two strangers who secure a house at auction, have a renovation budget and just a few months to flip it. If they make a profit they keep the proceeds!
On the subject of property, we’ve just learned that Channel 4 has also commissioned a third series of SARAH BEENY’S NEW LIFE IN THE COUNTRY in which she meets people swapping cramped cities for fresh air in the country. We don’t really know why we like shows like this but there’s just something fun in seeing how the other half live, isn’t there?
Over on EASTENDERS, Janine comes up with a hare-brained plan to impress Mick on their date but it disastrously backfires, almost putting a quick end to their date. Elsewhere, Frankie feels inadequate about her life when she bumps into an old friend from university.
