Some of these acts prove you don’t have to win BGT to make it big:
◆ Paul Potts – opera singer Paul was the first winner of BGT and has since performed around the world and appeared on Oprah twice
◆ X (Marc Spelmann) – Ant and Dec’s Golden Buzzer mentalist act finished second in series 12 and now tours his mind-bending show ow
◆ Susan Boyle – the IDreamedA Dream singer came second to dance troupe Diversity but has gone on to sell more than 25 million records.
◆ Diversity – after beating Susan in the 2009 series, the dance troupe have had global success and a few members including Ashley Banjo have gone on to have presenting careers.
