◆ It’s so easy to explore the Causeway Coastal Route from central Belfast (we stayed at One Sussex Place in the heart of the city, bookable at centralbelfastapartments.com). You can book a bus tour (see getyourguide.com) but driving in and out of the city is easy, so we hired a car to visit such legendary sites as the Giant’s Causeway, Cushenden Caves and the Dark Hedges.
◆ For extra thrills, cross the Atlantic on Carrick-a-Rede’s famous rope bridge just along from the Giant’s Causeway!
