THROW DOWN Challenge!

I really enjoy The Great Pottery Throw Down, a series of pure delight for its creativity, kindness and warmth. The judges are thrilled when someone develops their craft as a potter, when they achieve something they perhaps didn’t know they were capable of. It’s a show with great humanity and I felt so inspired that I joined a pottery class last autumn. I’d never thrown on a wheel before but I love working with clay and being able to try things out. I made this plant pot to hold one of my succulents. It has three drainage holes in the base, a very well drained compost and a glaze colour that I thought would go well with this echeveria.
