Vieste

The Adriatic sea here is billed as the cleanest in Italy, with watersports one of the main attractions. Sail or kayak along the coast to explore sea caves, karst mountains and Tremiti islands or kitesurf and windsurf the stretch between Peschici and Vieste. Inland, the Foresta Umbra has plenty of hiking trails in the shade of ancient forests.
