The Genesis of the French Polar Expeditions
Follow in the wake of the great explorers on this new 11-day cruise, focusing on the rugged east coast of Greenland. Departing from Reykjavik, you’ll sail west to reach Greenland’s icy coast. The voyage explores the mountainous Ammassalik region, where Captain JeanBaptiste Charcot sailed, before moving north to the Blosseville Coast, named after the explorer Jules de Blosseville. As well as meeting local Inuit people, the trip offers the chance to spot polar bears.
