Out in the open

Your magazine came to me as a Valentine’s gi this year and it’s been great in helping me escape the screen life we find ourselves in these days. It was fantastic to dive into the images and articles — they inspired me to go outdoors. One particular article about frilu sliv (Jan/Feb 2021) caught my attention as it opened my eyes to the wonders of nature. I live in Newcastle and Northern England o„ers an array of hikes and walks and this article helped encourage my inner sloth to get out there. I’ve always enjoyed hiking yet found it hard to motivate myself, but the reminder of the perspective and purpose it gives has encouraged me to reach for those hiking boots once again. Thank you!
