No place like home

I was more than thrilled when I turned the page of your December 2021 issue and saw a feature about my beloved birthplace, Liverpool. I don’t get there oŠen now as I have no family there, but when I do go, I feel at home again, having been away for 50 years. The people are still as friendly as ever, and that iconic trip across the Mersey reminds me of my college days. I still believe Bold Street Coee is one of the best cafes in the country. You’ve inspired me, and I’ll have to make a trip to wonderful Liverpool again soon. JOY GOWER
