Going green

I like the way National Geographic Traveller (UK) puts plenty of green and sustainable content in the magazine without it feeling too overwhelming. It was interesting to read the review of Richard Hammond’s new book The Green Traveller (Smart Traveller, June 2022). Some very simple and authentic sustainable tips every traveller can try are to eat local, shop local and travel local. Every penny you spend with local people can make a real difference to them and their families.
