Yarn art is a ther­a­peu­tic creative out­let for Gaelle Chas­sery who is orig­i­nally from France but cur­rently liv­ing next to the rugged waters along the Scot­tish West Coast. This coastal en­vi­ron­ment serves as in­spi­ra­tion for her cro­chet and paint­ings works. Ma­te­ri­als and col­ors are care­fully se­lected for each piece of yarn art (shown be­low) and the paint­ings she pro­duces (shown to the right). Gaelle opens up about how and why she cre­ates these pieces.
