The star makes a shock plea to her ex – and cosies back up to Kieran, too
Katie Price stunned fans last week by admitting she believed she’d still be with her ex-husband Peter Andre if “certain people hadn’t been involved” in their relationship. Now, ten years since their split, we can exclusively reveal the star has contacted her ex and asked if he’d consider taking her and the kids on a trip.
“Katie and Peter are in a good place right now, especially considering how bad things were this time last year, and the other day she asked if she could go on holiday with him, Junior and Princess,” revealed our insider.
“Of course he told her no. Pete thinks she’s totally bonkers and mad for thinking he’d agree to it.”
Last week Katie, 41, revealed in an interview that Pete, 46, had recently upset her – and perhaps the cause of their row was him rejecting her idea of them going abroad together. Asked when was the last time she cried, the mum-of-five replied, “It was to do with the kids and Pete. A frustration cry.”
It’s no surprise Pete declined. The star is happily married to wife Emily and they have two children – Amelia, five, and Theo, two, together – so he would no doubt feel awkward. Katie, meanwhile, is currently dating personal trainer Kris Boyson and it’s unlikely he’d be too thrilled about the plan either!
Although she appears to have found happiness with Kris, 30, a separate source told new! that Katie has also been flirting up a storm with her third husband Kieran Hayler.
According to our mole, she’s been contacting Kieran, often after a few drinks, and reminiscing about the past, saying how much she fancies him.
The revelation came after Katie gave an interview in which she likened Kieran, 32, to the psychotic lead character of the Netflix crime drama Dirty John, claiming he’d love to get her back, but she’d “never trust him”.
Our insider revealed, “Katie makes outrageous statements in the press about Kieran, when in reality things are very different. When she’s had a few drinks she flirts outrageously. He finds it amusing, but it’s dangerous territory as they still have to co-parent responsibly.”
Kieran, who is loved-up with girlfriend Michelle Pentecost, appears with Katie on her reality show My Crazy Life, and the pair flirt on camera as they spend time with their children Jett, five, and Bunny, four.
“Kieran’s more than happy to stay working with Katie on the show, as they do still have a laugh and it makes for great TV,” our insider said. “But comments about how he wants her back are far off the mark and massively disrespectful to Michelle.”
Our mole revealed that Katie’s taken things a step further in recent days by touching and complimenting Kieran on set. “She keeps lifting his top up, touching his six pack and telling him how fit he is,” the source said. “At one point she compared him to Kris and said, ‘You have much bigger arms than him!’ Kieran looked embarrassed and you can only imagine how pissed off Kris will be.”
The pair are still legally married, despite splitting in May last year. And according to our mole, divorce is not something she’s happy to discuss.
“Every time Kieran brings up the divorce she changes the subject or tries to stall him,” the insider said. “She even cornered him the other day and said they still needed a conversation about the future. It’s totally bemusing, but it’s clear she’s the one who doesn’t want to let go.” Indeed, last week Katie admitted she was “scared of never being married again” and said she thought her marriage to
Kieran, 32, “was forever” after their wedding in 2013. But in an interview last week, she insisted she’d found her Prince Charming in Kris. “I think it has to be fourth time lucky,” she said.
