Everyone from Justin Bieber to Mariah Carey has been posting videos of themselves doing the bottle cap challenge, where you kick the lid clean off the top of a bottle using a martial arts move called a roundhouse kick.

The guys at GMB asked me to do it last week when I was filling in for Richard Arnold. I nominated Piers Morgan and Junior, but at the time of writing my column they hadn’t done it. C’mon, boys. Get on with it! It only took me four attempts (cough), but some people said I didn’t do it right.

I said I’d attempt it, not perform magic.
