Coleen Rooney
The WAG is seeing a life coach in a bid to get her marriage back on track – and she wants Wayne to join her!
Scrutiny of Coleen Rooney’s marriage is at an all-time high following claims Wayne stripped off during a boozy hot-tub party. But we can reveal the mum-offour has a new plan to fix their fractured relationship.
We’re told Coleen, who stood by Wayne after he reportedly whipped his trousers off in front of three girls during a recent seven-hour partying session in Vancouver, has sought the help of a life coach after getting stuck in a rut with her footballer hubby.
According to our insider, Coleen believes the guru could be the key to rebuilding trust between the pair following a series of humiliating incidents.
“Coleen’s been seeing a life coach after a recommendation from a close friend,” our mole revealed. “She’s seeking advice on how to deal with the recent public situation and also how to cope with her emotions and manage her stress.
“She’s also begged Wayne to get help and has persuaded him to see the life coach too.”
Coleen, 33, has spent the school summer holidays in the UK with their sons Kai, nine, Klay, six, Kit, three, and 18-month-old Cass, and is set to move back here full-time.
Wayne, also 33, who joined the family for part of their trip, gushed on Twitter last week about spending quality time with them.
“Happy to be home for a few days to see kids before heading back to States for play off push,” he wrote.
The sportsman is set to return to the UK once his contract with DC United in Washington comes to an end next month. It’s thought the family will finally move into their £20 million Cheshire dream home, which they’ve spent more than two years building, ahead of Wayne’s new gig at Derby County beginning in January.
Our insider claimed Coleen thinks the move will mark the beginning of a new chapter for the family after the chaos of the past two years – during which Wayne was spotted downing shots in a Florida bar with barmaid Vicki Rosiek and, in a separate incident, arrested for public intoxication at Washington DC airport.
“Coleen’s adamant that when they move back to the UK it will be a fresh start, but she’s told Wayne they won’t survive unless they both get help,” our insider said. “She wants them to have marriage therapy and do whatever it takes to get them through this and put an end to the constant stream of scandals and heartbreak.”
Last week, Karra Granados spilled the beans about her wild night at the hot-tub party.
“Wayne took off his jeans and was dipping his feet in the water,” she said. “He joined in with everyone else. He had tight boxers on. They were blue and I think they were Calvin Klein.”
But Wayne took to Twitter to deny any wrongdoing, insisting, “Nothing happened between me and any girl on that night in Vancouver.”
We’re told Coleen’s life coach has since given her some words of wisdom about how to move forward with Wayne.
“Coleen has been told she needs to make time for herself so she can focus on their new life and making this fresh start they desperately need,” our mole said.
