Hi Francesca! Are you body confident?

Yes, but I think who you are inside is more important than what’s on the outside.

How often do you work out?

I love training, it’s my hobby. I mostly do boxing and weights, and I love to run. It’s amazing to put your earphones in and go for nice long runs, especially in the forest.

I try to work out three or four times a week.

Do you play any sports?

I box at my local Essex

Fight Academy. I really enjoy learning and you can do that with boxing techniques.

It also means I’m able to protect myself.

What’s your favourite part of your body?

I don’t have one, to be honest! My legs are my least favourite part, as I have a heavy-set lower body. But that’s the fashion now.

Would you say you’re healthy?

I genuinely enjoy healthier food. I’ve grown up with fruit and veg in the house. I’m not a massive meat eater and I find that vegetarian options are usually healthier ones. What are your favourite cheat meals?

Chocolate brownies and I like cream as well – shop-bought brownies, as I’m not the best at baking.

What is your go-to snack?

Carrot sticks and houmous are the dream team. I go to the kebab shop for houmous because it has no citric acid in it and is a lot creamier. The citric acid stops it from going off but I don’t think it’s good for you.

Have you ever been on a diet?

I’ve never been one to go on diets. I’ve tried to cut out dairy as I think dairy and soy affect my skin. But I’m not good at cutting food elements out completely. Every day I say,

“I’m going to be so healthy today” – and then I have a chocolate bar.

Ever been tempted to go veggie or vegan?

Yes! I watched the documentary Cowspiracy

and eating meat and dairy is terrible for the environment. Even fish is bad. It’s good to cut meat out a little bit, but I craved a Mcdonald’s cheeseburger when I tried to do it.

Do you feel pressure to look good?

No, but I’ve always tried to look after myself. Eating bad foods makes me feel bad about myself and I end up feeling lethargic and tired. Also, when I don’t drink I have a lot more energy and training is better. I do it for the feel, not for the look.
