The I’m A Celeb winner is fearful of a festive fallout with Dan
Jacqueline Jossa landed back in the UK with husband Dan Osborne by her side following her I’m A Celeb win. But while the pair put on a united front amid rumours Dan had cheated, a source close to the couple has told new Jac is said to be gearing up for a showdown in the new year and is trying to keep things stable until then for the sake of their children.
“Jac had a feeling she hadn’t heard the last of rumours about Dan’s bad behaviour and knew doing I’m A Celeb would be the ultimate test of their marriage,” an insider told us.
“While she was in the jungle she had already been worrying that this could end up being a make or break Christmas for them.
“In the past Jac has vowed to stand by
Dan no matter what and work through their problems, but now her priority is getting through the Christmas period. She promised her girls that their daddy would be there to see them open their presents.
“She made the decision that it would be too much stress and drama to start rowing with Dan before the festive period, so she’s putting on her bravest face.”
Despite being crowned Queen of the
Jungle, Jac would have come back to reality with a bump, as while she was filming the show it was reported that Dan, 28, had a threesome with his former Celebrity Big Brother co-stars Chloe Ayling and Natalie Nunn in September 2018.
Jac, 27, sparked concern by cancelling a string of live TV interviews, but took to Instagram to assure fans she was OK.
Sitting with daughters Ella, four, and Mia, 18 months, she told her followers, “I just want to let you all know I am absolutely all fine and it has been the best experience of my whole entire life and my babies are here.”
She later added, “I am still fully overwhelmed and haven’t processed anything.”
But our insider says Jac is burying her head in the sand.
“She’s told Dan that once Christmas is over, she wants answers,” our mole claimed. “She just doesn’t want to get it into it while she’s trying to enjoy her success from I’m A Celeb and considering all the exciting offers that have been thrown her way. “Despite being offered financial security, Jac’s ideal situation right now is not to divorce Dan – but she also knows she can’t continue living in fear that he’s going to cheat again.”
Our source added that Jac feels disappointed in Dan – and hasn’t ruled out a break-up.
“She can’t help but feel let down by Dan. No matter if he did cheat or not, she blames his partying lifestyle for putting himself in these predicaments in the first place.
“She’s warned him that once Christmas
is over, there are going to be some serious discussions between them in the new year – and a split is not out of the question for her,” our mole said.
However, despite being on rocky ground, the former TOWIE star was keen to share a loved-up snap of the pair landing back in England. He captioned the shot on Instagram Stories, “Extra passenger come home with us.”
