The newly single star is dreading spending the big day alone after Josh’s latest betrayal
Heartbroken Charlotte Crosby has revealed she’s at “breaking point” after discovering her ex-boyfriend Josh Ritchie is looking for love on Celebs Go Dating. The former Geordie Shore star, who was on holiday in Dubai, admitted she was devastated, writing on Instagram, “I have felt ill for 2 weeks and now to be smacked in the face with this. I’m at breaking point. I don’t know how I can actually go on.”
The 29-year-old also told her followers that the pair, who split up in November after two years together, had been contemplating a reconciliation.
In a tearful video, she said, “I’m not going to f**king lie, right. At one point we were on the verge of getting back and
I said, ‘I’ve been asked to do Celebs Go Dating, but obviously I said no, I would never do that. We’ve only just finished, we were in a two-year relationship, we lived together and it’s just wrong.’ And his words to me were, ‘Do you think I’d ever do that?’”
Charlotte then raged, “I’ll tell you what, don’t f**king mention my name once while you’re on that show! Don’t f**king even speak about me you f**king little toerag.”
To make matters worse, in a trailer for the show, Josh, 25, labelled their relationship “toxic”, saying, “This time I’m at the agency and I’m single. I split up with my ex-girlfriend. It got a bit too much. It started to get toxic, so I took myself out of that bad energy.”
And he couldn’t resist making another thinly veiled dig at Char, by explaining he’s looking for “easy-going ladies who are fun to be around, full of confidence and won’t be on my case too much”. Ouch!
So it’s no surprise a source close to Charlotte has told
new she’s now dreading spending Christmas alone.
“Charlotte is still feeling really sad about her break-up with Josh, but she’s trying to keep as busy as possible to keep her mind off things,” the insider said.
“She’s an emotional person and she wears her heart on her sleeve. She’d been with Josh for years, so having this first Christmas without him is going to be weird for her and she will be upset about it. She’s looking forward to spending Christmas with her family, but it will be strange without Josh because he was so close to them all.” But despite her heartache and anger, our source adds that Charlotte is optimistic about her future.
“Charlotte’s trying to remain positive and is looking forward to 2020 and a fresh new year,” continued the mole. “She still feels heartbroken, but her friends and family are looking after her.”
And our mole revealed she’s got a plan to help herself feel better. “Charlotte wants to show Josh what he’s missing, so she’s decided she wants to lose some weight and tone up,” our insider added.
“Dieting is hard for Charlotte as she’s so busy, but she’s determined to get her dream body for 2020. She wants to look better than ever before.”
Clearly her hard work is already paying off as earlier this month she posted a snap of herself wearing a bikini and captioned it, “Lost weight, feeling great.”
