‘I have to take control of the situation!’

Forget Phil, Holly’s got bigger problems on her hands with a certain Mr Walsh!

We’re going to be seeing even more of Holly Willoughby over the holidays as she’s presenting a new festive game show, Take Off, with The Chase star Bradley Walsh. And it’s clear the pair get on like a house on fire. Here, they reveal what it’s like to work together and why Brad keeps Holly on her toes.

So guys, what can you tell us about Take Off?

Holly: It’s our brand new show and we’re both very, very excited about it. It’s going to be Christmas fantastic. We’re basically giving families the chance to win an opportunity to fly to Lapland.

Bradley: On a plane, obviously, not on their own – people can’t fly, it’s physically impossible.

Holly: Or in a sleigh.

Bradley: Yes, that’s true. I know nothing about this show, I only came out for a loaf of bread.

What makes the show so special? Bradley: Working with Holly makes it special for me.

Holly: That’s nice.

Bradley: Alright, love. I haven’t worked with Holly for a long while. The last time was on Play To The Whistle, which was a funny show. Holly took the mickey out of me and treated me like an elderly person, which I’m not by the way.

Is that true, Holly?

Holly: I have to be on my toes and pay attention when working with Bradley because I’m keeping us both in line. I have to somewhat take control of the situation!

Bradley: Is it because I’ve got a juvenile sense of humour?

Holly: A little bit and it’s sort of like I need to make sure you’re on track with things.

Bradley: [Laughs] Is that because I’m sort of off-piste sometimes?

Holly: Yes, you are off-piste and you play – which I love!

Are there any surprises in store? Holly: Lots! We’ve got Johannes [Radebe] from Strictly, Curtis [Pritchard from Love Island]. We’ve got an aeroplane in the studio, you see, so they’re kind of in charge of serving drinks and canapés.

Bradley: It’s also got a flypast by the Red Arrows. They’re coming into the studio and they’re good. It’s all happening!
