Hi Nermina. Are you body confident?

Yes and no. I’ve been so busy lately, but

I do still manage to go to the gym. I feel 80 per cent body confident, because I’m still having my cheat meals.

How often do you exercise?

I have four personal training sessions every week and do two Pilates classes.

I also ride my horses five times a week, so I’m very active.

Do you ride your horse competitively?

I do showjumping and almost every Sunday we have a competition. It’s a proper workout. If I don’t do it for a week and then get back on my horse, my legs really start to hurt after 10 minutes.

What’s your favourite part of your body?

Probably my legs, because I gain muscles there very quickly and they stay toned. My least favourite is my stomach area.

It’s something that changes every day, like when you’re bloated or it’s that time of the month.

Are you a healthy eater?

I am. I still have a little bit of chocolate, but I’m healthy 80 per cent of the day.

I allow myself to be human and enjoy food rather than being too strict on myself. I stopped eating meat two years ago and that’s when I noticed an amazing transition in my skin.

Why did you decide to go meat and dairy-free?

I’m a big animal lover and I didn’t like the thought of eating them. When I started, I didn’t struggle at all. My husband Eric is a pescatarian.

What’s your guilty pleasure?

Chocolate. I can cut out everything else if I want to be super healthy, but I always say to my trainer, “Please allow me to have a bit of chocolate in the daytime!”

And your favourite takeaway?

Pizza. Me and my husband go to this amazing place called 900° Degrees in Wilmslow. They cook the pizzas at that temperature, which means it’s ready in two minutes. I have it with vegetables and feta cheese.

Does being in the public eye make you feel under pressure to look good?

Definitely. You compare yourself to others. But you need to be realistic because no one is perfect all of the time. Luckily I handle it really well – I allow myself to walk around without make-up and have a cheat meal from time to time.
