Mum-of-five Katie Price is determined to build bridges with her ex-hubby Peter Andre and his wife Emily
The coronavirus pandemic has been a “huge wake-up call” for Katie Price, according to a pal close to the mum-of-five. The impact of the outbreak has made Katie determined to make amends with ex-hubby Peter Andre and his wife Emily, following a turbulent few years.
“After everything she’s gone through, Katie is now focused on rebuilding her relationship with Pete and Emily,” a mole told
“She truly wants this to be the start of a new family network and has been telling friends she’s finally embracing the idea of a modern family.”

Princess, have mostly been living with their dad and NHS doctor Emily, 30, in recent months.
Katie, 41, previously explained she had been “self-medicating” with drugs following her break-up from third husband Kieran Hayler, and even ended up at the Priory.
Meanwhile, her relationship with Pete became strained when she took aim at his parenting style in a series of veiled digs on social media last March, before accusing him of being “selfish” and a “hypocrite” on live
TV for not allowing Junior and Princess to film her reality show, My Crazy Life.
However, our insider insists Katie has finally “realised the error of her ways”.
“It’s been a long road,” our mole explained. “No one is perfect, there is no parenting handbook. Kate now realises
what a great dad Pete’s always been. She’s even thankful the kids are in lockdown with him, because they couldn’t be in safer hands with Emily being a doctor. Katie knows Emily will do everything by the book.”
Last week, Katie sent a heartfelt public message to the couple by commenting on Pete’s Instagram page, “Stay safe all of you.”
And we’ve been assured Kate’s U-turn has come as a welcome relief to Pete, 47, who, despite their differences, only wants to see his ex happy and healthy.
“Pete just want her to be OK, so if this is a step she’s taking to get back on track, then great. Pete’s all for it,” another source revealed. “Both he and Emily wish her well for the children’s sakes. They don’t want any drama.”
And, said our mole, the pair can rest assured drama is the last thing Katie wants.
“This virus situation has been a huge wake-up call for Katie,” our insider said. “Her family, her children and true friends are her everything. She’s ready to extend some olive branches so she can reconnect with loved ones with positive energy only.”
