The star is feeling anxious as it’s revealed her robbery ordeal could finally go to trial

It’s been almost four years since Kim Kardashian was robbed at gunpoint in Paris, but the reality star may be forced to relive it all over again as the case is finally set to go to court. And while, if found guilty, she could see the people responsible put behind bars, a source has told new Kim is worried about how addressing the traumatic event will affect her.

“Kim, of course, wants to seek justice and whoever carried out this horrific crime to receive their punishment, but the thought of having to endure a trial, whether she’s forced to physically face them or not, has sent her anxiety through the roof,” our insider revealed.

“While she always knew this day would come, it’s brought a lot of raw emotions back to the surface and she’s petrified of reliving the ordeal and spiralling back into a dark place.”

The incident happened in October 2016 during Paris Fashion Week, when masked intruders raided Kim’s apartment, bound and gagged her and stole jewellery worth more than £8 million.

Prosecutors are said to be looking to take the case to trial and charge 12 suspects with armed robbery, kidnapping and criminal association.

Kim is also concerned about how revisiting the ordeal will upset her husband, Kanye West, who suffered a breakdown just a month after the incident. The 43-year-old rapper later admitted the robbery was a contributing factor to his hospitalisation, saying he felt “helpless”.

“Kim’s extremely worried about how it could affect Kanye,” said our source. “While he’s come a long way and had a lot of help processing everything, she’s worried he’s still vulnerable and fragile, which could lead him to crumble again.”

Our insider added that the couple, who are parents to North, seven, Saint, four, Chicago, two, and 13-month-old Psalm, have sat down and discussed how they’re feeling about a possible trial.

“They’ve vowed to ensure that whatever happens, they will make their mental health a priority and take all the necessary precautions and seek whatever professional help they need to ensure they remain strong,” said our source.

“This has been hanging over

Kim for the last three and a half years and, while she knows her anxiety may never fully disappear, she’s also feeling positive and hopeful that she’ll get justice and will finally be able to put the ordeal behind her and move on.”
