ALI ‘IT’S BEEN A TOUGH COUPLE OF WEEKS!’
Former Hollyoaks actress Ali Bastian has recently discovered her three-month-old daughter Isla has peanut, milk and egg allergies.
Speaking on her Instagram Stories, the new mum, 38, told her followers that she and husband David O’mahony have had “the most full-on couple of weeks” as she explained their daughter’s diagnosis.
“She’s got peanut, milk and egg allergies – the trifactor from hell. So we’re looking at what our new normal looks like,” she said.
Just days earlier, Ali shared a snap of the three of them together and wrote, “We will always fight for you and we will teach you to go bravely out into the world and fight for you too. We’ve got you baby girl.”
The couple welcomed baby Isla in mid-march just before the lockdown and have been honest about the difficulties of having a baby during this time.
“What a time for Isla to make her grand entrance and for us to become parents,” Ali wrote on Instagram. “I won’t lie... the anxiety at times has been riding high. Doing everything I can think of to keep our little family safe.”
