So I see Louise Redknapp’s teenage son has given her the green light to date, following her divorce from Jamie. I think it’s sensible to listen to your kids when it comes to things like this – your romantic choices can massively affect them.

When I first started dating Ryan, I didn’t tell the kids for three months and then slowly introduced him into their lives. Thank goodness they were cool with it, but after the drama I had with George, I wanted to make sure they were happy. And if any of my children didn’t like Ryan, I wouldn’t have carried on dating him, so I understand where Lou’s coming from in that respect. No matter who you fall in love with, your kids will always come first.
